Overview

A mini exhibition featuring new work by Nancy Gruskin in the Annex Studio Space. Come see the work of an artist who is legendary among other artists.

 

Nancy Gruskin (b. 1968) lives and works in Concord, Massachusetts. She received her B.A. in Art History and Studio Art from Connecticut College and her Ph.D. in Art History from Boston University. Her current work explores the arrangement of objects, both real and imagined. She is interested in the connection between recording and collecting and is influenced by museum installations, pattern books, samplers, and cabinets ofcuriosities. Gruskin has exhibited throughout the United States, including shows with LaiSun Keane and the Nancy Margolis Gallery. She also teaches painting, collage, printmaking, and sculpture at a number of institutions, including the Concord Center for the Visual Arts and Black Pond Studio.
