Jenny McGee Dougherty

Jenny McGee Dougherty is a visual artist and designer based in South Portland, ME. She is currently the Associate Director of Artists at Work & Alumni Relations at Maine College of Art & Design. As the Associate Director of SPACE Gallery in Portland, ME from 2010-2014 she led the organization through an expansion and co-organized hundreds of events and exhibitions. She has taught visual arts to youth in India, California and New England and served as the Administrative Director of TEMPOart, a Portland based public art organization. Her murals and surface designs can be found in public locations both locally and internationally, and she currently keeps a studio in downtown Portland, ME, focusing primarily on painting and textile design.
